Web conferencing services include a full set of controls, which give the host full control over the entire session. Presenters can access the Share menu for sharing presentations and documents, and the host can change the conference room attributes. Application sharing is easy. For example, sharing a PowerPoint simply involves opening up the presentation, going to the App Sharing menu, and selecting the file at any time. The Powerpoint does not have to be pre-staged or pre-loaded prior to the conference, a convenience that makes it much easier to do ad hoc presentations. In the same way, it is possible to share web pages by opening the web page, selecting App Sharing, and choosing the browser window. Multiparty video is also available, with the host managing all aspects of the video. AccuConference also allows for multiple moderators and speakers. Participants can be assigned different PINs that reflect their specific roles.
Conference features include registration pages, for easily gathering information about participants and posting conference details. You can include a pre-recorded greeting for when participants first log in, and even set up multiple rooms for different conferences to be held at the same time. Other features include an Outlook plugin which affords greater automation and easier invitation control, and a Conference Manager interface where you can view all of your conference details at a glance.
