SalesNexus CRM Review

Customer relationship management, also known as CRM, is the process where companies use information about customers to enhance their relationship with those customers. By keeping track of those customers wants, needs and other critical information, it is possible to create a smoother and more automated business process to convert more leads into customers and further the growth of the company.

The Company

SalesNexus was created by Craig Klein in 2002 when he wanted a solution to host ACT! databases on the internet. The company has grown from there to become a fully self supported online CRM that includes email marketing features. Today SalesNexus has over 3,500 users all around the world including universities, realtors, large banks and businesses in virtually every other industry.

Strengths

One of the biggest strengths of SalesNexsus is the customization that is available to the database and what is included in it. Not only can the layout of the contacts be customized but so can email marketing campaigns, reports and even the HTML emails themselves. With this expanded availability of customization, a business will no longer have to conform the fields they want in their database to what is available. Instead they can create a database that goes hand and hand with their unique business.

Another great strength of SalesNexus is the free support that comes with all accounts. When getting started with SalesNexus, there is a self paced program called the Self Guided Quick Start, which allows users to walk themselves through getting the contacts uploaded into the database, getting the database customized and other valuable information on getting started. Also, within the database, there is free chat support that will help you within minutes of your chat request.

Products and Features

SalesNexus offers 3 different levels of subscriptions of their online CRM database with great features in each. The Small Biz subscription is a stripped down version of the database for smaller companies with 1 or 2 users. Small Biz includes all the great amenities of an online CRM such as contact management and organizers, as well as email marketing capabilities. With this email marketing capabilities, the user can send out unlimited email blasts to an unlimited number of contacts.

The Professional subscription includes everything in the Small Biz subscription as well as email archival and sync. Email archival automatically takes emails that are sent and received from people in the database and puts them in the notes section of that contact. This makes it easy to record conversation histories with customers and leads. Sync makes sure all of the contacts and the calendar that is in the database matches up with the users cell phone or with Outlook.

Finally, SalesNexus offers the Complete level subscription which includes all the great features of the other two products as well as web lead capture and email tracking. Web lead capture allows a form on their website to be filled out, and that leads information is automatically uploaded into the SalesNexus database. Email tracking allows the user to get a report of opens and clicks for an email blast as well as be alerted when an email that has been sent is opened.

Conclusion

SalesNexus is a complete marketing tool with more functionality than other CRMs offer. It is great for mid market companies looking for an online CRM to help them with increased sales automation and collaboration, as well as companies looking for an email marketing solution. SalesNexus also offers a 30 day free trial that is a great introduction to their product.
