I'd recommend this system to any other small business as we've been using salesforce for almost two months and love it. We were up and running in just two days and the sales staff find it easy to use. We haven't customized the system in any way because it costs too much, but I think using the standard system is actually a plus when you consider the frequent upgrades and technical support.

After a year and a half of problems we went with another CRM vendor. Our primary problems with salesforce.com included: ?Difficulty in customizing the system. The real effort to use the tools to customize the system couldn't have been farther from the demo. ?No service level agreement (SLA) ?Pathetic customer service - next time we'll be going with a customer relationship management software company that actually practices what it preaches. My recommendation to any company in a software selection project is to make sure you don't get lulled into first impressions, really see what the product is like

Had difficulty setting this up as we were new to Salesforce.com CRM and the support during the trial period was minimal. Pricing was attractive for our small company and if it had been a bit easier to setup and use we may have went with it. Definitely a very powerful piece of software but we decided it was actually a bit more functionality than we need for out simple application requirements. Would recommend them though. Just not for at this time as we are still a fairly small company and our CRM needs are minimal.
